SYSTRA Canada is an engineering and consulting firm whose primary focus is to offer transportation solutions, whether for passengers or goods: feasibility studies of building a new railway line, increasing the capacity of the existing infrastructure, privatization of a railway.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px\">Understand better who we are by visiting www.systracanada.com.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h2>Context<\/h2>\n<p><p style=\"margin: 0px\">Systra Canada is looking for a V&amp;V Lead for Transit Projects in Ontario.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h2>Missions\/Main Duties<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Develop and maintain the V&amp;V Strategy and Master V&amp;V Plan for the SRS scope;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span> Define V&amp;V methods and evidence requirements for each level of requirements;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Coordinate preparation of test procedures, inspection plans and other V&amp;V artefacts;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span> Track execution of V&amp;V activities and management of findings \/ defects; <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Prepare V&amp;V status reports and contribute to safety case and acceptance documentation.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Profile\/Skills<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>University degree in Engineering;<\/li>\n<li>10+ years&rsquo; experience in verification &amp; validation, testing and commissioning or assurance for rail \/ transit systems;<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of V&amp;V planning, test methods, evidence management and defect resolution;<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams and external stakeholders during system testing and acceptance.<\/li>\n<li>Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in Ontario or equivalent;<\/li>\n<li>Formal training in verification &amp; validation and\/or testing\/commissioning (CENELEC EN 50126\/8\/9 or similar) considered an asset<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><!---text--> <\/h2>\n<p><p style=\"margin: 0px\">SYSTRA Canada is committed to having a diverse and inclusive workforce.
